What We Do

The Mentor Method is an Enterprise SaaS solution for employers that works to increase the retention, engagement, and leadership development of their employees. The Mentor Method does this by connecting employees with mentors via a patent-pending matching algorithm, creating custom mentorship programs that successfully advance professional development for employees and business goals for employers.

The Mentor Method is working to solve a trifecta of ongoing challenges in workplaces: Existing and new employees are seeking inclusive mentorship to advance their careers; Employers often do not have capacity or resources to provide ongoing professional development; Employees look for new opportunities, and employers spend up to 400% of that salary in turnover costs to fill the position.

Not only does The Mentor Method make stronger matches between your employees, we provide a framework, resources, and proven methodology to make the relationship effective.

An Introduction

Janice Omadeke is the CEO and Founder of The Mentor Method, an enterprise platform helping companies keep and develop their diverse talent using the proven power of mentorship. Using a double-blind algorithm, The Mentor Method is closing the opportunity equity gap in the workplace.

How Her Past, Shaped Her Future

Corporate mentorship has the power to change lives when done correctly. Unfortunately, it’s often a low-priority task that’s manual and challenging to implement. She experienced this when registering for corporate mentorship programs early in my career. It can be awkward, intimidating, and the mentor you’re with may not be a strong chemistry match. Often times she was matched based on demographics and not my goals, who she was as a professional, or where I wanted to go in my career. And the relationships weren’t as strong because of that. The programs felt more like checking a box than a true investment in my career. As millions of professionals can relate, having your employer recognize your strengths and potential and show an investment in refining those strengths to become a leader within the organization is critical in determining if you stay in your job.

Her Accolades

Janice is the 94th Black woman to secure over $1M in venture funding for her company.
